Published by Bloomsbury,  this book is a good account of a couple whose lives were reborn by taking to the sea after a disastrous fire that destroyed their home.   It gives a tale of sailing the west coast of Scotland, down the Irish Sea and on to Cornwall and Normandy. It is a story of everyday life on a live aboard venture as experienced by two novice sailors. More of a tale of adventures and mishaps than a practical handbook, it is a good read with much about the harbours, islands and characters encountered.

The precursor book, Phoenix from the Ashes, about the fire and the building of a sea going gaff rigged boat from scratch must also be interesting.
