Club opening times during Olympics

In view of the restricted access around the Club during the Olympic period, from Friday 27 July to Sunday 12 August, the following restricted opening hours will apply during the main Olympic Games period.

Cabins

These will be available to members as usual, at normal rates, throughout the Olympic period.

Restaurant

The restaurant will close on Thursday 26 July and reopen on Monday 13 August.

Club room and Bar

The Club room and Bar will be available during the period as normal but will close at 1700 each day. The only Bar snacks available will be a range of sandwiches.

There will be no Club evenings on either Tuesday 31 July or Tuesday 7 August.

For those wishing to meet in London for an 'alternative club night' the venue will be The Banker, Cousin Lane (next door to the club) from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday 31 July and Tuesday 7 August.

Normal arrangements should apply from Monday 13 August.

Travelling in London during the Olympic Games period

The Transport for London website has an interactive map showing predicted travel hotspots during the Olympic Games period. The Club is in the heart of the transport hub and it is advisable to avoid London Bridge, Bank and Southwark stations during the morning and evening peak travel times throughout the period.
