Entries to the 24th Annual Thames Frostbite Race close on Sunday 17 February. With a race briefing on Saturday 23 February, 10.00 at Greenwich Yacht Club and dinner at Erith Yacht Club on Saturday evening, don't delay if you wish to secure a place.
Latest news on the race is that Amendments have been issued to the Sailing Instructions. The new version is here.
Sailors wishing to take advantage of the special race berthing offer from St Katharine Docks need to contact the marina manager at St Katharine Docks to book their berth. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or tel: 020 7264 5312
The special offer offers boat owners who are taking part in the race berthing at a specially reduced rate of £100 from the weekend before the race until the weekend after. Berthing charges must be settled by the boat owner direct with the St Katharine Docks and proof of race entry will be required to obtain the discounted rate.
Please be aware that if you berth at St Katharine Docks you will need to lock out on the morning of Friday 22 February as the lock opening hours on Saturday will not allow you time to get to the race briefing and start at Greenwich. If you are moving your boat on Friday you can head down to Greenwich on the ebb tide where there are a number of deep water and drying moorings available. Contact the Greenwich harbourmaster to book a berth at Greenwich. There are also a limited number of berths on the pier at St Katharine Docks, speak to the marina manager when booking your berth to arrange a place on the pier.
