Heybridge Basin Rally

Leisurely rally to the delightful Heybridge Basin, at the exit of the Chelmer Canal into the Blackwater. The rally will link up with Maldon LSC so there will be plenty of opportunity to socialise and make new sailing friends.

Berths have been reserved for up to six boats (on a first come first served basis) and there will be a BBQ in the evening (DIY and weather permitting). Bring your own food and drink. Alternatively Heybridge offers a choice of two pubs!

There will be a very modest fee, which will be collected by the organiser on the day.

Sailing information:

Access to the basin is HW plus or minus 1 hour.

HW on Saturday 8 September is 18.15

There is good all tide anchorage at Osea Island where you can wait for the tide before the short trip up the drying channel to the basin.
