Weekend Cruise on a Thames Barge

Enjoy a weekend on a Thames Barge watching the world go by! The boat is available to us from the evening of Thursday 21 June and we plan to leave Mistley mid-morning on Friday 22 June, returning midday on the Sunday.  We are taking the barge from Mistley on the Stour which is convenient for those coming by car. We will not have to risk parking in the tiny streets of Maldon.

The plan is that we cruise where we want within reason so round the corner to Pin Mill on the Orwell as well as into the Walton Backwaters.

As we are not racing the cruise will be very relaxed with lots of time to chat, view the scenery, partake of special cocktails created by Ian, take turns on the helm and so on.

More details will follow however a reminder that it will cost at least £230 per person.
