Hamble River


The November Fast Cruise on Saturday, 11 November 2017 will finish with a meal in the Boomerang Restaurant in the High Street at Hamble-le-Rice.

The course will be posted as usual on either the Thursday evening or Friday morning of the rally.

Berths have been reserved at the nearby Port Hamble Marina.

Skippers will be responsible for their own mooring fees. A 10% rally discount is available to participants, so do let them know that you are part of the rally. Please confirm whether you need a berth by ticking the box on the online booking form.

The cost is £20 per head for 2 courses, (or £25 per head if you choose one of the two specials). The usual £5 per head registration fee will also apply, so the total cost will be either £25 or £30 depending on your menu choice.

There won't be a formal pontoon party, so do please gather in the venue bar from 18:30 for dinner at 19:00.

Greek salad served with flat bread (V)

Chicken wings smoked & served with a sweet chilli dip on a bed of wild rocket

Calamari rings seasoned with salt and pepper & served with a slice lemon on a bed of wild rocket

BBQ Ribs ½ rack served on bed of salad leaves

Whitebait, fresh breaded and served with a garlic mayo dip


Classic Caesar Salad with torn chicken

Glazed goats cheese, roast Mediterranean vegetables, rocket, pesto served with penne (V)

Penne Arrabiata served with homemade tomato base sauce (V)

Flaked Salmon with spaghetti, lemon and herb pesto, spinach and herb oil

Grilled mushroom halloumi burger, served with a toasted sesame bun roasted red pepper, onion rings, coleslaw and chunky chips (V)

Cheese burger (choice of halloumi or cheddar) served with a toasted sesame bun, onion rings, coleslaw and chunky chips

Lamb Kleftiko - famous traditional Greek dish served with Greek salad

Chicken breast stuffed with cheese wrapped in bacon served on a bed of new potatoes, seasonal vegetables and a creamy white wine sauce

Rack of Ribs served with coleslaw and chunky chips


Whole Sea Bass served on a bed of new potatoes and seasonal vegetables (£5 supplement)

Sirloin steak (please specify how cooked, e.g. rare, medium, etc) with side salad, flat mushroom, tomato and chunky chips (£5 supplement)

Desserts & Coffees - Available to order on the night, at own expense.

Drinks to be bought from the Bar on the night.

Please note that in order to be able to offer this exensive selection of courses, we need to confirm our selections to the venue in good time.
