Open Evening and Talk: The Coriolis Force

On Tuesday night we will be hosting Alex Ellis-Roswell, a remarkable young man who has been walking the entire coastline of the British Isles for the last three years raising money for the RNLI. He has raised nearly £60,000 and has walked 9 and a half thousand miles. He's on the home strait and we are absolutely delighted to be hosting him while he is in London. Training instructor and designer of the Practical Weather Forecasting Course Ian Stewart will give the Club Night lecture on Tuesday 10th October. He will speak on the Coriolis force, its historical context and continuing relevance.

This is also an Open Evening; an opportunity for new and prospective members to visit following the Southampton Boat Show and find out more about Little Ship Club - all welcome.

Followed by Club Supper.
