Club president, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, will be visiting the Club stand N072R at the Excel London Boat Show between 1400 and 1600 on Wednesday 13 January. As well as greeting members and visitors, Sir Robin will be presenting the Club's Suhaili trophy to club member Nathan Whitworth.

This has been awarded to Nathan for his exploits in sailing around the UK in his 21 ft Corribee Kudu. Nathan will also be talking about his attempt on the clubhouse on Tuesday 19 January in the clubhouse, one of our regular clubnights, when he will be speaking and hosting potential new members. SuhailiThe trophy is named after Sir Robin's boat in which he made the first non-stop sail around the world just over forty years ago. We were privileged to have Suhaili join our President's cruise to the Scilly Isles a few years ago.

As well as Sir Robin and Nathan, we also have lots of other guests planned for the stand, so if you will be at the Boat Show on the following days do make sure you drop by - and tell your friends!
