About the Little Ship Club

The Little Ship Club is a yacht club for sailors, motor boaters and non-sailors alike.
Being a member of the Little Ship Club enables you to:
Enjoy sailing in good company whether you have a boat or not
Learn and gain new sailing skills that make your sailing more enjoyable
Enjoy private members dining in our beautiful Thameside Club in the heart of London
Join with our social events and lecture programmes in our clubhouse
Our clubhouse

Our beautiful clubhouse is right on the Thames by Southwark Bridge in London. If members aren't on the sea, they are in the club, enjoying good company, excellent food and a great social calendar.
President, Mike Golding OBE

They don't come better or braver than Mike Golding OBE, one of the world's most successful sailors. He holds several world records, including the first person to race around the world in both directions.
Sailing and Boating

The sea is in our blood. We love sailing and arrange events near and far, from the South coast to the Caribbean. You don't have to own a boat either. The club offers plenty of yachting experiences
Training

We provide RYA training courses that make you a better, safer sailor. Plus we run our own complementary courses in lesser known but popular subjects like rope handling and practical weather forecasting.
Great company
We run a lot of social events, including a regular Club Night. You can find out how Channel 4's Mutiny was made, or the subtleties of weather forecasting. On other occasions such as Burns Night we celebrate in style.
Our history

Let's get together and swap yarns! Well, that is how it started in 1926, and 94 years later we are still going strong. A club with great history and traditions. Learn more of our history here.
