Island Water World MarinaLeft Falmouth Harbour, Antigua Friday morning 8th, went to Jolly Harbour and anchored , good practise on my own.

All went well, the winch worked fine after not being used for 2 years! My main anchor and chain are massive, it is like nailing Amber Sea to the sea bed! Without the winch I would never raise them.

Massive safety though, no chance of dragging in bad weather.

Then Saturday 9th sailed 40 miles to Nevis, and again anchored off and cooked supper(pasta plus sauce and corned beef).

Sunday 10th sailed past St.Christopher(St.Kitts) and Saba, and St.Barthelemy, and on to St.Martin. Started at 8.30 and finally anchored off at 11.00 pm!

This morning went through the lifting bridge at 8.20 am and on to the Island Water World Marina.

Bill and Karen (friends I have not seen for 21 years) came and collected me at 1.00pm, and we walked to their house. Bill then drove me to the Police station to check in with Immigration and customs, usual bad manners and arrogance. St.Martin/Sant Maarten half French and half Dutch, and all nice.

Lot's of room on Amber Sea for visitors.
