Congratulations to all 120 members of INEOS Team UK and Sir Ben Ainslie and Giles Scott

Congratulations to all 120 members of INEOS Team UK for their hard work and contribution to the amazing turnaround  in boatspeed of their AC75 and to Sir Ben Ainslie and Giles Scott for the on water tactics in the Prada Cup. After 2 Round Robins of the Prada Cup to decide the challenger for the Americas Cup INEOS Team UK  have 4 wins and no losses in a variety of wind conditions.

Day 3 ended in a most dramatic fashion with American Magic (USA) leaping out of the water while bearing away in a rain squall at the last mark in the last race in which they had a good lead over Luna Rossa. The subsequent crash landing holed the hull and only immediate action by the many helpers prevented a sinking. A massive effort by the American team may get the boat back on the water in time for the semifinals on 29th January. The winner of the semifinals will meet the winner of the 4 round robins in the final February 13-22. The winner of the Prada Cup will then face the defender Emirates Team NZ in the Americas Cup Match beginning March 2nd.
