The Club recently asked its H.P.O.'s if they would check in their respective regions to see if there were any yacht clubs who would like to consider a reciprocal arrangement with the L.S.C.
One of the clubs that expressed an interest was the Saint Malo yacht club, the Société Nautique de la Baie de Saint Malo, or S.N.B.S.M.
The Club contacted the President, Xavie Etraves, and a Reciprocal Agreement was signed on the 15th of April. This Agreement allows members of the L.S.C. the use of the S.N.B.S.M.'s clubhouse, its bar, dining and other facilities within the reasonable limits of bona fide visits.
There is no dress code for the club house, which is open Mondy to Friday, from 09.30 to 12.30and 13.30 to 17.30, and reciprocal members can bring guests.
Visitors berths and mooring facilities are via the marina office, and the S.N.B.S.M. can introduce reciprocal members to those of their partners who offer boatyard repair services.
Saint Malo is a popular place to visit for U.K. boats, and the Club hopes that our members will take full advantage of the advantages now being offered by the S.N.B.S.M.
