The first Fast Cruise of the 2018-19 season will link up with the Frostbite Rally for a pontoon party in Cowes (weather permitting). This will be followed by dinner and dancing to a live band at the RORC Cowes Clubhouse, see their website for more information.

Combined with the annual Frostbite Rally, a 3-course dinner will be held at the RORC Cowes Clubhouse. Organised again by Graham Pinner, this is guaranteed to be a fun event with dancing to a live band (and maybe some karaoke too!).  Berths have been reserved at Shepards Wharf Marina, see here for more details.

The event will have a 'Shipwrecked Mariners' theme to it so please come dressed as you were when you were first washed ashore. There will be prizes available for the most interesting and original costumes.

You might also be interested to know that this weekend sees the return of the Isle of Wight Classic Buses, Beer and Walks event. See their website for full details. Shepards Wharf Marina is participating in the event and there will be the opportunity for the public to enjoy some of the beer and food which will be on offer in their waterfront Sugar Store Events Centre.

Courses for the Fast Cruise are now available to download - see sidebar. Please note that:

1 - There is ONE race, starting at 11.00-11.10.

2 - There are TWO courses (see document for which course to sail, depending on your boat's LSC club handicap).

3 - Both courses start and finish in the same place and this month are in the West Solent.
