An Old Salts’ lunch club for long-serving members of the Little Ship Club has been formed with a view to encouraging older members to resume their social activities and reconnect with old friends and associates to recall past times and exploits, and to re-establish contacts.

It is focused initially on those members with 25 years of membership of the Little Ship Club and the plan is to hold lunch meetings, initially on a twice-yearly basis.

Menu

Starters

1.  Sautéed Chorizo  Cooked in a red wine and honey jus, served with toasted sourdough  £7.90
2.  Scottish Smoked Salmon Mousse  Served with pickled cucumber, radish and seeded crisp bread  £7.50
3.  Spring Tartlet Asparagus, pea and parmesan  £7.10

Soup of the Week Served with a bread roll and butter (V, GF) £7.10

Mains

1.  Roasted Harissa Hake On a bed of ratatouille vegetables, chickpea and chorizo  £23.50
2.   Lemon and Thyme marinaded Chicken Supreme Served with green pesto gnocchi, sundried tomato and parmesan  £21.50
3.   Rosemary Kent Lamb Rump New potatoes, braised carrots, asparagus and salsa Verde  £24.50
4.   Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli In a creamy tomato sauce with mixed cress (V)  £15.00

Desserts:

1.  Double Chocolate Brownie Served with vanilla ice cream  £7.90
2.  Coffee and Walnut Cake Served with cream  £7.10
3.  Cheeseboard Cheddar, Brie, Stilton, celery, grapes  £9.20

Bookings can be made via the website or using the attached flyer and will close on Friday 5th April 2024 at 15:00.  Payment will be taken on the day; the amount will be subject to your choices.
