Lindisfarne Radar Training Weekend - 16th & 17th November 2024

A weekend of Radar traiing on Lindisfarne for those new to boating or on courses, or those who simply
want to get more out of their radar sets

Radar can do far more than simply tell you from a blob on the screen that there is a ship or a buoy ahead of you, and if you do not alter course, a collision may be inevitable. Learn how to use the VRM and EBL for navigation position fixing. Targets and closest point of approach (CPA). Time to CPA (TCPA).

We will got out for the Saturday evening dinner, and then do a night pilotage exercise with radar.
