Dyneema® is offering a complete re-rig of your boat, using DSM Dyneema®, which the manufacturers claim is: "the world's strongest fibre", for 40 skippers around the globe who join the  2011 Dyneema® Experience Team. The skippers will test running-rigging made with Dyneema® fiber and share their experiences through social media.

If you are selected as part of the 2011 Dyneema® Experience Team, your boat will be re-rigged completely free of charge with ropes made with Dyneema®. The only catch is that you will have to test out the rigging and share your thoughts with the makers, your friends, family and other sailors worldwide, through social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr.

The most active 'skipper' of the 2011 'Dyneema® Experience Team' will experience a masterclass with a friend on one of the Volvo Ocean Race Yachts in Alicante.

Dyneema® has proven to be highly versatile for a wide range of products in the yachting industry. The combination of high performance and durability makes it the ideal material, for running-rigging for performance cruisers and professional sailors.

The closing date for applications is 4 March 2011. The project runs till 23 September 2011.
