1. If a quotation is prepared for your function the price is calculated according to the number of guests requested at the time. Any alteration to these numbers may result in the price being changed 2. Fork buffets are normally standing; however if you require seating, a service surcharge of 3.50 per person will be added to the menu charge (apart from wedding packages which is inclusive). 3. For functions requiring only tea & coffee service, there will be a service surcharge of 0.50 per person. 4. We require final numbers seven days in advance of your function; in writing please. Your charges will be based on these numbers. We will always try and accommodate slight changes in numbers up to 48 hours before your function but cannot guarantee this in all cases. 5. Your invoice will be due for payment within 14 days of receipt. There will be a surcharge added to accounts not paid each month. The surcharge will be determined at the time by The IN-HOUSE CATERING COMPANY LIMITED, but will not be less than 3% above the current bank base rate. 6. Cancellation of your function 45 days prior to the date will not incur any charges. For functions cancelled after this, charges will be levied according to costs incurred up to that point by The IN-HOUSE CATERING COMPANY LIMITED. Cancellation charges are levied as follows: 25% of catering fees if booking is cancelled 31-45 working days prior to date of event 50% of catering fees if booking is cancelled 16 -30 working days prior to date of event 75% of catering fees if booking is cancelled 3-15 working days prior to date of event 100% of catering fees if booking is cancelled two working days prior to date of event 7. A letter of intent is to be completed and signed to confirm your function. Cancellation charges will be applied depending on the time and notice of cancellation before the event. See 6 above. We reserve the right to ask for full payment before your function should it be required. 8. All bookings must be confirmed in writing. By writing to confirm your function, you will be accepting our Terms & Conditions of business. 9. All prices are subject to VAT at the current rate. 10. A nominal charge will be made for any member of staff working later than 10.30pm on functions, due to them being unable to take reasonable and safe public transport to their homes and having to take taxis. This will be kept to a minimum by staggering our staffs departure times and allowing them to use public transport wherever possible. The same applies for staff required to start earlier than 7am. 11. A deposit of 50% is required to confirm a function. For bookings confirmed more than three months in advance this may be paid in two stages, 10% to confirm the booking and 40% seven days prior to the function. Where the client has no previous credit record with The IN-HOUSE CATERING COMPANY LIMITED we reserve the right to request 100% pre-payment. 12. Our prices will be reviewed in time for the new season starting in January of each year. 13. We will provide special diets or vegetarian meals. All requests must be made, at the latest, by the time of confirming final numbers (kosher meals will incur an extra charge). 14. Unless very special circumstances prevail it is not policy for clients to provide their own wine and drinks. 15. Contact.
