Keith Cima will highlight the contribution made by the Victorian Royal Engineers to develop new technology such as electricity, flight, steam power, diving, electrical sea mines, the world's first guided weapon which was so secret that no-one of the time knew about it - yet it was key to defending sea ports and coaling stations world-wide.  The talk is based on contemporary photographs - photography being another Engineer responsibility.
