Included in the price is the RYA’s Day Skipper student pack; a set of navigational instruments is available at a discounted price.
The Club runs two versions of the course.
Option 1 - Our traditional evening long course for Day Skipper will be presented this autumn using an online platform starting on November 2nd, and continuing for about 22 weeks at convenient times to suit participants. You will see and hear your Instructor, and he will see and hear you and be able to interact with you individually. The Instructor will be able to assist you with your chartwork, he will be able to see the work you are doing, and provide the same assistance as in a real physical seminar.
As the course progresses it may be possible for some classes to be held at the clubhouse.
Get virtual, get your Day Skipper ticket: we can do it: you can do it.

The Club’s special Basic Rope Work course is very popular with sailors of all types and levels of ability, and was originally developed to provide an easy “bridge” between the Day Skipper shore-based course and the Day Skipper on-the-water course. It can be taken either before or after the Day Skipper course.
