The Brightlingsea Rally is a joint event with Maldon LSC and Tollesbury CC. As usual on the Saturday there will be a pontoon party starting at 17.00 until 18-00hrs. This is always a very welcome start of our joint rallies with Maldon LSC as in addition, John Boyse of Maldon LSC will be bringing along from his brewery generous samples of his award winning ales, Maldon Gold and Oscar Wilde to name two. Wine and lager also on offer!
Following the pontoon party we have been kindly invited to take part with Colne Yacht Club, who are holding their Regatta that weekend, for their evening event. This will take the form of a bar-b-que and live music at their club house. A fun evening is anticipated with the four yacht clubs all of whom have long and close associations.
Early on Sunday morning we have been invited to spectate at the annual Cricket Match held on the Buxey Sands between Tollesbury CC and Maldon LSC. There may be an opportunity to take part dependent on numbers on the day.
Rally cost per person is £14; members pay their own Mooring fees.
