Club Night - New Sailing Tactics- Tuesday 24th March 2026
Raj Joshi and other members who sail competitively will be talking about tactics from their own experience. It's an evening designed to demystify the sorcery of club racing and how the beginner can get involved with a charter boat and an eager crew. As with all competitive sailing, there will be an undertone of sarcasm and irony throughout the evening, coupled with some audience participation.

The Cutty Sark is an icon of the Britain’s maritime history. Bill’s talk will outline why this is the case provide some history of the ship and details of the refurbishment project that restored her for the public’s benefit.

Shellfish to Selfish – A history of the Essex Police Marine Unit
A potted history of Marine Policing in Essex from its origins in the River Colne in the 19th Century through to the modern challenges that the unit faces policing the longest coastline of an English county . Outlining the changing roles of marine policing, how the unit has developed and some notable operations.

Club Night - Thames Cruise Tuesday 16th June
We are chartering a Thames Cruiser for a Party down the Thames. We will be departing from Temple Pier and returning there after a cruise down river to Greenwich and beyond. The cruise includes a bowl supper, a DJ and Music.

Club Night - Yacht Fractions - Tuesday 14th July
From Menorca to the Docenese in their shared yacht Denis Lyons and his wife have been owners of shared yachts since 2013, starting with a 1/4 share in a Hanse 350, then moving up to a 1/3 share in a Beneteau Oceanis 43, which they owned for 10 years and most recently a share in a Dufour 500 Grand Large.

The City of London Sheep Drive and Livery Fair 2026
Join this historic City event on Southwark Bridge, beside the Little Ship Club. The Club will be open from 10.30am for refreshments, with buffet lunch available by pre-booking in two sittings between 12.00pm and 2.30pm. Sandwiches, snacks and drinks will be available throughout the day without booking.
