Lord Mayor with the Yorkshire Shepherdess 2021

This distinctive City event has ancient roots and brings together many of the City of London’s Livery Companies and Guilds, which will hold their annual fair on the north side of the bridge near Monument. Historically, any Freeman of the City was entitled to drive sheep across London Bridge. Today, the event is often attended by newly admitted Freemen and their families.
