The smallest of the former Yugoslavian states, lying between Croatia and Albania, Montenegro is the last unspoilt cruising ground in the Mediterranean.

A week or ten day cruise based in the outstanding Bay of Kotor, the largest fjord in the Mediterranean and the opportunity to explore Montenegro’s  beautiful coastline visiting Budva and Sveti Stefan and for the adventurous Bar and Ulcinj on the Albanian border.

For members who do not have their yachts in the Mediterranean, charter yachts are available from Montenegro Yacht Charters at Porto Montenegro only a short taxi ride from TIVAT airport which has a regular EASYJET service from Gatwick on Mondays and Thursdays.

So far 5 yachts have been chartered and 4 members are joining the cruise in their own yachts. If you are interested in chartering see the Montenegro Yacht Charter details opposite. At least the skipper must hold an ICC or equivalent certificate of competence.

 

The itinerary includes a Welcome Pontoon Party at 1800 on 23 May on Pontoon N at Porto Montenegro, a lunch time drinks party at Villa Stara Posta, Rose on Saturday 25 May [subject to settled weather] followed by lunch at the Adriatic Restaurant next door for those that wish to and an End of Cruise Dinner at the Porto Montenegro Yacht Club on Wednesday 29 May.

There will be a charge of Euro 20 for LSC members and Euro 30 for guests to fund the drinks parties and to cover admin expenses which will be collected in cash at the Welcome Party.

All berthing, lunch, dinner and other expenses are to be settled by cruise participants  directly with the provider.
