SAILING PROGRAMME - Tuesday 4th April 2023

Although there are many sailing activities, the Club is also organising motor boat and inland waterway (narrow boat) events. Find out about our exciting programme with opportunities in the Solent, South Coast and East Coast of England, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, and more.

The presentation will be of interest to all members but particularly to Training Members, Trial Members and others who have joined the Club recently.

Many of the event organisers will be present to give their personal insight to the events.

How to participate in On The Water events

There are many ways to find out and join in sailing events be they just for a day or for a more extended period - these will be covered tonight. The Club has a "Skippers & Crew" system which helps crew to find a berth and skippers to find enough crew for their boat.  This will be explained this evening along with more informal methods such as chatting at the bar. Remember you don't need a boat to sail or motor with the Little Ship Club.

Several skippers will be present tonight so this will be a good opportunity to meet them and discuss their plans.

The website is a key communication tool for Skippers & Crew and information about boating. There will be a quick overview about the key areas of the website which you can use to help you participate in sailing and boating events.
