Fast Cruise dates for the 2011-12 series are being planned. The first one will coincide with the Frostbite Rally on Saturday 15 October and finish at Ocean Village, the Royal Southampton YC.

October – 15/16 finishing at Ocean Village and combined with the Frostbite rally.

Taking part - check your boat insurance

Although they are called Fast Cruises, they involve sailing around a series of buoys and boats are timed around the course. A handicap system is used and prizes awarded at the end of the series. Insurance companies may regard this as a race and participants must check they are adequately insured before taking part. The Club's usual disclaimer will apply.
