Ella Hibbard once again returns for the RIN SCG/ Little Ship Club Joint Annual Meeting to regale us about her 2026 exploits attempting to complete her single-handed circumnavigation of the Arctic Circle.

During the first part of her epic challenge in 2025, Ella became the first British woman to sail solo through the Northwest Passage.

Ella’s talk will discuss the challenges she faced en route when she returned to the Arctic in 2026 to complete her full circumnavigation.

Ella Hibbert is a 30 year old RYA Yachtmaster Instructor. Raised between England and France, Ella has always been passionate about the ocean and is also a PADI Divemaster.

Both before and after, her epic voyage Ella has aimed to raise awareness of Arctic sea ice decline and climate change within the Arctic circle - showcasing and documenting it during her voyage.
