Exciting finish to the Vendée Globe

The top 5 60' AMOCA yachts in the 2020/21 Vendée Globe are expected to arrive at the finishing line off Les Sables d'Olonne tomorrow Wednesday 27th January within hours of each other after 80 days at sea in their bid to win the coveted prize of the Everest of yachting. Redress will be awarded to three yachts for the search and rescue of Kevin Escoffier in the Indian Ocean. Amongst the top 5 are SeaExplorer- Yacht Club de Monaco (Boris Herrmann) and Maitre Coq IV ( Yannick Bestaven) each with 6hours and 10 hours 15 minutes time allowance respectively. Yannick has taken the northern route to finish on Starboard gybe and Boris the straighter route to finish on port gybe.
