We (my wife and I) have just returned from a holiday visit to the Far East and Australia. In Sydney we could not resist visting the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron located in a fabulous position at Milsons Point on the harbour waterfront.

Sydney Harbour is one of the most magnificent in the world and it is difficult to think of a more impressive location. We were made very welcome and offered lunch in their splendid dining room but as tourists in Oz were a little informally dressed so remained discreetly in the bar.

At 31 degrees centigrade on the Balcony (of which there are a few) chilly UK felt something from the Ice Age. If you go to Sydney do visit - but make sure you take a letter of introduction from LSC. Unforgettable!!!
