Along the south coast of England lie approximately 700 wrecks from the First World War. The importance of the war at sea during the Great War is often overlooked, despite the significance it had on Britain’s war effort. Funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Maritime Archaeology Trust are investigating these wrecks, and the story they tell, for the duration of the centenary.
