An ordained minister, Bob Shepton spends most of his time sailing into the Arctic and making first ascents of inaccessible mountains. No tea parties for this vicar.

Winner of the 2013 Yachtsman of the Year Award, Bob is an old-school adventurer - as well as a Royal Marines officer, a Reverend in London's East End, and a school chaplain!

When not tackling the Northwest Passage or ski-traversing new routes in the Arctic, he lives with his wife in Oban, Scotland, with family and grandchildren nearby.
