Every member of the Committee, including the Officers and Flag Officers, is elected annually by the members (apart from the Honorary Legal Adviser, who is appointed by the Committee).  In that sense every post will be vacant at the AGM.

The Committee has determined its 2023 structure in accordance with Rule 13.3 and the following positions are available for nomination:

• Commodore
• 2 Vice Commodores (Membership and Sail & Power)
• 3 Rear Commodores (Commercial & Strategy, IT and Training)
• Honorary Treasurer (nomination also to be approved by the Club Committee)
• 7 Committee Members (Including responsibility for  Social, Marketing and Membership Retention.

The current composition of the club committee is as follows:

Committee members also sit as Directors of Little Ship Club Limited.

There are also three vacancies for elected members of the President’s Committee this year.

Nominations for election to the Club Committee and President’s Committee close on 24th January 2023.

The Club depends on members giving their time and the benefit of their experience to run its affairs and promote its success. Please consider standing for election helping to run your Club. If you would like to discuss any of the positions in more detail then please do contact one of the Flag Officers who will be more than happy to talk to you about any of the committee roles.
