The Arctic has been ignored for years, but now the major powers are beginning to realize that in the next decades, they need to have role in its' future politically and for future commerce and trade. The principal question maybe - Who has the governance and control ?This presentation sets the scene for what is projected for the future and what is happening today, in an area that is reported to be warming 3.5 times quicker than other parts of the planet. It deserves our attention in UK as whatever is happening in neighboring seas is part of our national interest.
