Club Night Talk: Jubilee Sailing Trust [OPEN EVENING]
Club Night Talk
For our Club Night tonight, Graham Strudwick will be giving a talk about the Jubilee Sailing Trust, an organisation that strives to give people of mixed abilities and circumstances the freedom to get involved in their own unique sailing experiences. This will cover what the key aims of the Trust are and how the organisation seek to deliver these aims. Graham will include information on their ships and an overview of what life is like at sea including the daily routine, what the voyage crew are involved with and some of the things they see as they make their journey across the waves.
Graham is a retired Civil Engineer and spent most of his career in Aviation. He has a number of hobbies, some of which he had taken up during retirement. His main hobby is sailing and he has a Yachtmaster offshore qualification. He has sailed extensively in dinghies, catamarans, yachts and tall ships and has covered over 33,000 miles, of which nearly 16,000 miles have been on Tall ships.
