Club Night Talk: Santa Maria Manuela and Open Evening

Tonight Nigel Beacham will talk about the Santa Maria Manuela renovation project, building a tall ship culture and the ship's adventure sailing plans.
Built in 1937, Santa Maria Manuela was part of the legendary White Fleet and faced the adversities of the Northern seas during the tough cod fishing campaigns. She has recently been completely renovated for sail training, adventure sailing voyages and conservation projects with the likes of National Geographic. We look forward to hearing a few tales about her 82-year journey as she prepares for 2019’s schedule which takes her as far south as the Cape Verde Islands, west to the Azores, east into the Mediterranean and North to the tall ships festival in Rouen.
Tickets for the supper are £14.50 if booked online or £17.50 if booked at the bar. Please book your tickets online by clicking the button below before midday on Monday 25th March 2019.
