Little Ship Club flags

Once every four years members of the Corinthians come from the USA to take part in a joint sailing event with the Little Ship Club.

The planned itinerary is shown below, but this will not take place now. Depending on circumstances later this year, the cruise will be rescheduled for the summer of 2021.

Pre-cruise Riverboat trip to Greenwich: 

On Friday, 26th June 2020 we are organising a riverboat trip down the River Thames from Central London to Greenwich. There will be an opportunity to stand astride the Prime Meridian and to visit many of the historic locations in Greenwich before returning to the Little Ship Club for an early evening reception.

The day trip to Greenwich and the evening reception are open to all, even if you are not taking part in the Corinthians cruise. The will be an excellent opportunity to have interesting day on the Thames, in Greenwich and in the Clubhouse as well as meeting up with friends.

The main cruise:

This will take place in the English Channel will include the coastal towns of Dover, Boulogne-sur-Mer, Calais and Ramsgate. We will sail near the iconic white cliffs of Dover and we will visit Dover Castle before sailing across to France.

There will be a chance to savour both British and French cuisine, under your own steam and at the various cruise dinners.

The outline itinerary is:

Sat, 27 June: depart Ramsgate (around 11:00) for a short day sail past the White Cliffs of Dover. Cruise dinner at the Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club.

Sun, 28 June: In Dover. Visit Dover Castle and underground tunnels. Shuttle bus laid on. Evening at leisure/socialising events.

Mon, 29 June: Depart Dover (09:30) for Boulogne-sur-Mer. Afternoon/evening at leisure/socialising events. Ships dressed overall (prizes !).

Tue, 30 June: At leisure with local tours (fish market, ramparts, further afield). Evening: Cruise dinner in a local restaurant

Wed, 1 July: Depart Boulogne (08:30) in time for lunch in Calais. Afternoon at leisure/socialising events, including the Yacht Club bar. Evening Cruise Dinner at the Circle Amical.

Thur, 2 July: At leisure wih local events (guided town tours, fish market, possible visit to local town, such as Dunkirk). Evening exploring local restaurants and the Yacht Club.

Fri, 3rd July: Depart Calais (11:00) for Ramsgate. Afternoon, "Welcome to England" Pimms party. Evening at leisure with Fish & Chips and local beverages.

Sat, 4th July: At leisure, with local events. Ships dressed overall (prizes!). End of cruise dinner at the Royal Temple Yacht Club with prize giving.

Sun, 5th July: Full Moon. Depart for home ports or continue to the London, Thames and Medway Cruise.


If you can't make the entire Corinthians Cruise there wil be the opportunity to "drive along" to the cruise dinners and the pre-cruise Greenwich visit and buffet. These will be bookable separately; details will follow.
