LSC/Corinthians East Coast Dinner in Ramsgate

The LSC/Corinthians East Coast Cruise will be having end of cruise dinner in the Royal Temple Yacht Club, Ramsgate.

Even if you were not sailing on the cruise, you can join still attend the dinner with other Club members. The Royal Temple Yacht Club is high up along the sea front with exceptional views across Ramsgate harbour and out to sea. You can expect a warm welcome in the club.

The Royal Temple Yacht Club was founded in 1857 by a group of yachtsman sailing from the Temple Steps, on the River Thames in the centre of London. Thus, there are some historic connections between the two clubs.

Timings

18:30 Meet in the RTYC bar from 18:30 for a drink and a chat. You need to pay for your own drinks

19:30 Start taking your seats.

19:45 Dinner is served.

 

Tickets are limited and the booking cut-off date is Thursday 19th August.

Menu

Starter

Smoked Salmon/prawn tian. Salad leaves, red pepper coulis

Tomato, mozzarella, basil salad. Raspberry balsamic dressing.

Soup: Tomato and pepper with goat’s cheese rarebit

 

Main

Baked cod en paupiette. Lime, fennel, dill butter.

Braised steak, lardons, red wine/mushroom jus.

Slow roast belly pork, cider gravy, glazed apples.

Vegetarian – Goat’s cheese and Mediterranean vegetable wellington

All served with boulangère potatoes and vegetables.

 

Dessert

Passion fruit/mango panna cotta. Raspberry sorbet.

Trio of chocolate terrine, cherry compote, vanilla cream

Apple & rhubarb crumble and custard

Each served with a choice of cream, custard or vanilla ice cream

 

Half a bottle of wine and tea or coffee included.
