End of Season, East Coast - Burnham on Crouch
The 2019 End of Season Rally will be held in Burnham on Crouch on Saturday October 19th & Sunday October 20th. Berthing will be available at Burnham Yacht Harbour, with a pontoon party on board Avventura (weather permitting!).
This will be followed by dinner at Ye Olde White Harte in Burnham on Crouch
£20.00 for 2 courses, £25.00 for three courses, coffee included (Wine/drinks during dinner for own settlement)
Starters:
Homemade soup served with bread roll
Smoked mackerel pate served with toast
Melon fan served with raspberry coulis
Mains
Beer battered cod
steak pie
Vegetable curry
All served with chips or new potatoes and vegetables
Desserts
homemade cheesecake served with cream or ice-cream
hot 'pud' of the day served with cream, ice-cream or custard
mixed rossi ice-cream
Unfortunately, our usual lunch stop at the Ferry Boat Inn at N. Fambridge cannot go ahead this year as the pub is closed for refurbishment. However, for those that plan to arrive at Burnham in the early afternoon, I will arrange a brewery tour at the Wibblers Brewery near Southminster if enough people express an interest. There will be an additional cost for the tour and transport. Please let me know by Tuesday 8th October at the very latest if you wish to attend this.
