Littlehampton Rally 15 August 2015

Fancy a sail out of the Solent for a change? Then join us on Saturday 15th August when we are planning to sail to Littlehampton on the south coast between Chichester and Worthing. The harbour is at the mouth of the River Arun. www.littlehampton.org.uk

Berths have been reserved for us on the Harbour Office pontoon with easy access to all services of the town centre. This is the floating pontoon alongside the Town Quay on your starboardside opposite the yacht club marina. Call the harbourmaster on VHF Ch71 on arrival. Please settle mooring fees direct with the Harbourmaster.

Now that you’ve arrived, relax and watch the world go by, go for a stroll round Littlehampton or visit Arundel Castle (time permitting) - that is until the drinks party starts at 17.00 hours - a drinks party with a difference, in a similar form to speed dating! Bring your own drinks and glasses. Skippers will be informed of instructions.

The restaurant 47 Mussel Row has been booked for 19.00 hours where we’ll enjoy a meal together (pre ordering required – menu choices will be agreed by email) before returning to our boats for a well earned rest. 47 Mussel Row is an English seaside gem nestling by the mouth of the River Arun. A leisurely start will be required for Sunday morning for returning to home berths. LSC members are reminded to check pilot books, tidal heights and streams for entry to Littlehampton.
