Come and join us for the New Members Evening and hear club member David Clements recount how he took his Bowman 40 from Dartmouth to Spain for a summer cruising the Rias of Galicia in 2013. This little-known corner of Spain offers some of Europe's best cruising, with plenty of sheltered anchorages and fine modern marinas set amidst wonderful scenery reminiscent sometimes of the West coast of Ireland.

Plan to visit this wonderful cruising ground now before it gets discovered!

PS A Batea is a wooden platform from which mussel strings are hung - one of the few hazards of sailing in the Rias!
