October Fast Cruise Gins Farm
October’s Fast Cruise, the first of winter 2015-2016 is arranged for the 24th October and will finish at the Royal Southampton YC, Gin’s Farm on the Beaulieu River.
The course and start line will be published on the Fast Cruise page by midnight on Thursday 22nd October but will be somewhere in the eastern Solent. The exact position of the start will be dependent on the forecast wind direction on the day.
The Sailing Instructions for the Fast Cruises 2015 - 2016 will be available on the website from early October.
We will endeavour to have all boats moored on the walk ashore pontoon but if this is not possible the RSYC launch will be available until 2300 for those who are moored midstream.
All participating yachts will need a LSC handicap. For those that do not have an LSC handicap an application form is available on the website at http://littleshipclub.co.uk/fastcruises. The registration fees for this winter’s Fast Cruises are being held at £3 per person but for October this is combined with the cost of the meal which will be paid directly by the club. The costs are £18 for 2 courses or £23 for 3 courses.
