Do you lose the will to live when asked to do a tidal calculation? Do you find formal techniques too cumbersome when actually at sea? We draw on the insights of Lt.-Cdr. Rantzen, an expert Royal Navy wartime navigating officer and later Honorary Navigating Officer of the Little Ship Club.
This seminar would be ideal for:
- Day Skippers who would like to have a taster of what comes next;
- “Yachtmaster” students who would welcome a little extra tuition;
- Experienced sailors who may be a little “rusty”
In this concentrated session, we show you how to really get a grip on tidal stream rates and tidal heights. We use realistic examples taken from genuine charts and almanacs, not made-up ones.
There will be a specially-produced handbook for you and the opportunity to practice on the day.
