Winter Fast Cruise (five) 2015

February's Fast Cruise will be to the Royal Southampton YC at Gin's Farm, Beaulieu River. This month there will be a Fast Cruise in the morning and an afternoon Fast Cruise to start immediately everyone has finished the first. Hopefully most boats will be able to moor on the walk ashore pontoon at Gins Farm.
Dinner will be at the Royal Southampton YC clubhouse at Gins Farm and we need to order food at least one week before so please register before the 21st February. Please choose from the following
To start: Gins' Leek and potato soup with warm bread or Herb smoked salmon roulade filled with lemon and pepper cream cheese, cucumber relish.
Main Course: Roast breast of corn-fed chicken, fondant potato and pesto cream sauce or Roasted pepper and goat's cheese Wellington, warm tomato and garlic coulis
Main courses come with a selection of seasonal vegetables for the table.
Sweets: Chunky apple and forest berry crumble with vanilla custard or Dark chocolate raspberry tart raspberry coulis.
The cost of the dinner is £22.00 per person for 3 courses or £18.00 for 2 courses which will be collected during registration.
Once again our thanks go to Barrie Martin who is, as I type, slaving away in his kitchen preparing his home-made marmelade. He is presenting a pot to the first boat on a combined score over the 2 Fast Cruises this weekend.
