For anyone planning a transatlantic passage they are sure of a warm welcome in Cuba.

I have just received this email from José Escrich; our HPO in Havana which is copied verbatim.

Dear editor:

It pleases me to kindly greet you on behalf of the Hemingway International Yacht Club of Cuba and my own, as well as to wish you success in your position of LSC Guest Editor.

I avail myself of this opportunity to reiterate that I feel very honoured to represent in Cuba the Little Ship Club. I am very happy to have the opportunity to give all the collaboration possible for the members of LSC to have a pleasant journey through Cuban territorial waters and a nice stay in the national territory.

I would highly appreciate that LSC members know that when they visit the seat of the Hemingway International Yacht Club of Cuba, they can enjoy the same rights that our members have.

I take this opportunity to reiterate my greetings and success wishes.

Sincerely,

Commodore Escrich
