The Folly

The Fast Cruise to the Folly (and Fancy Dress) is set for the 1st December. Fifty places have been reserved for dinner and so places will be on a first come first served basis. In previous years when more people have attended they have allowed us to "hot bunk" our 50 places and will allow us to do the same this year. Due to the short daylight hours (and it will be more comfortable in front of a log fire sipping mulled wine) there will only be one Fast Cruise this weekend. The course will be announced by lunch time on the 30th November with the approximate location of the start announced on the website on Thursday. Please remember that it is intended to start with a beat so don't head for the windward side of the Solent. (Unless you are taking this really seriously and trying to work out tacking angles, where the wind bends are and where the shifts are!).

Also, just to remind any one who hasn't done a Fast Cruise before you need a club handicap for the yacht. Application forms are available here which should be completed and returned to hc@littleshipclub.co.uk by the 24th November to ensure that the handicap can be issued in time for this Fast Cruise.
