Fast Cruise 2011 to 2012 Rules

After much discussion it has been decided to run the Fast Cruises using the International Regulations for Prevention of Collisions at Sea (IRPCS). However The Club believes that it is highly likely that yacht insurers will define a Fast Cruise as a race for insurance purposes and you are therefore advised to obtain insurance which adequately covers this activity.

The rules for this year are here. Please note that this year the entry fee will be £5 per person. This will go towards the prizes that will be awarded at the last Fast Cruise in March and will also enable us to use some Yacht Clubs, who may charge for room hire, occasionally as well.  Last year it was difficult to find restaurants that were large enough to accomodate us.
