A good Force 4 meant everyone had a fast sail to the Backwaters (that is those that did not confuse the Backwaters with the Blackwater! We’re sorry we missed you guys).

We anchored and rafted off Stone point, then the weather settled down to a lovely July summer’s evening, perfect for a BBQ on the beach. We had neighbours from another yacht club – they had suggested we join their sing song, but fortunately that did not materialise to spoil the perfectly calm evening with stunning views across the water.
