NOTICE TO MARINERS No.M73 of 2010
KINGS REACH - RIVER CLOSURE 
FIREWORK DISPLAY - LORD MAYOR’S SHOW
SATURDAY 13th NOVEMBER 2010
On Saturday 13th November 2010 at 1700, as part of the Lord Mayor's Show, a firework display will take place from a barge held mid-river off HQS Wellington. The display will last approximately 10 minutes.

The river will be closed to navigation between Waterloo Bridge and Blackfriars Bridge between 1640 and 1730.

The river closure will be indicated by two Harbour Service Launches, displaying flashing blue lights, one stationed upriver of Waterloo Bridge and one downriver of Blackfriars Bridge.

Persons in charge of vessels are to navigate with due care with regard to their wash in the area from  16.00 onward.

A pre fireworks pageant will commence in the area from 16.15 and will be managed with controlled navigation by Harbour Service Launches.

Further details on the river closure and progress of the display will be broadcast by London VTS on VHF Channel 14.
