Sydney Hobart 1 day 20 hrs

Titania of Cowes now lying in 16th place. After a southerly gale overnight which saw more retirements, the wind is forecast to swing clockwise and give some high speed downwind sailing for the yachts further back in the fleet.

Titania of Cowes with Sir Robin on board has pulled up to 16th place and is out in the Bass strait. The line honours race leader Wild Oats XI is hotly pursued by Investec Loyal as reefs are shaken out and the wind frees after the overnight southerly. Nikolas Zennstrom's British entry Ran is in 4th place.
