St Mary-le-Bow

The Club's annual Carol Service is at St Mary-le-Bow, Cheapside, less than ten minute's walk from the Club.

There will be traditional Christmas carols and readings and we will be supported by members from the Lloyds Choir.  This excellent choir, which was established over 100 years ago, will be singing some selected pieces both familiar and less familiar, appropriate for the time of year.

The church service will start at 19:00 but please take your seats in the church by 18:45.

You are encouraged to bring friends and guests and enjoy the last major Club event of 2026.

Christmas Dinner

A traditional Christmas Dinner will be served in the Club at about 20:30, after the carol service. A vegetarian option will be available, but please state this when booking your ticket.

Friends and relations are welcome at this event where you can get into the Christmas spirit, break open your crackers, don your party hat and groan at the Christmas cracker jokes!

Seating Plan

There will be a seating plan for the Christmas Dinner. When booking your tickets, there is an option to specify who you would like to sit with.

Price

The price for the carol service an dinner will be determined closer to the time.

For those who only want to attend the carol service and not dine in the Club, there will be a voluntary nominal charge of £5. This helps with the cost of using the church and helps with ensuring that enough service sheets are provided.

Booking is not yet open (January 2026).
