Initially, the second half of the concert majored on British classics - traditional to ‘The Last Night of the Proms’; but as the evening concluded, with a super firework finale, the programme changed a little, and ended with a rousing selection from ‘The Pirates of the Caribbean’.

The weather was very kind to us – even providing a blanket of cloud in the mid evening so that after a fine clear day, it did not get too cold. The programme was varied and the performance from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, under their Conductor Mathew Wood, was excellent.

The Last Night of the Osborne Proms was a very enjoyable evening with great Little Ship Club company.
